Teach Peace is proposing a home for Peace Related Ideas that presently have nowhere to go.Somewhere right now, a community organizer is sketching a plan for peace that no one will ever fund. A retired diplomat is holding a proposal that never reached a desk with the authority to act on it. A young person, in a village or a city most of the world will never hear of, has an idea worth the whole world's attention — and no way to be heard past their own front door. Across eight billion people, the will to build a more peaceful world has never been rare. What has always been rare is a room to speak about how to increase the peace in the world human society.. Teach Peace does not claim to hold every good idea about increasing peace. It proposes something rare and more valuable: A open forum with one purpose to Teach Peace. A living forum where ideas that would otherwise be silenced before they are ever spoken can reach a real audience. A place where these peace ideas can be tested the way every idea in this framework is tested — against one honest question. Does this increase or decrease the level of peace in the world human society? This is the door swinging open for the future none of us can fully picture. For women, whose wisdom about peace has been subordinated across every continent and every century. For indigenous peoples, whose deep knowledge of living in balance has been overrun by governments and markets that never thought to ask. For anyone who has carried a real vision, alone, with nowhere to bring it. No where to air it out. Build the room, and they will come — not because Teach Peace has all the answers, but because for the first time, someone is finally creating a space to speak, listen, and respond. |
