My agenda is peace. My method is this: I take positions genuinely held across parts of the world human society and place them under the same lens — does this increase or decrease the level of peace in the world human society?
I do not supply the verdict. I supply the question, and the position, and let the answer be reached by whoever is willing to reason through it honestly.
I believe in teaching peace. That belief is mine, stated directly, not attributed to anyone else. I believe universities are the right place to do this work — to take a real, contested question into a classroom and let students reason through it together, expanding their own thinking in the process, moving incrementally toward more peaceful conclusions. I do not expect any single question, or any single class, to resolve the deep and lasting conflicts of the world human society. I expect this work to continue, question by question, for as long as it takes to move meaningfully toward a more sane and just world human society.
