What this is, why one hub, why it is placed where it is, and who is asking
The Objective
Teach peace in every university in the world. We begin in the United States, and we begin with one hub university. Peace cannot be increased in a world human society that does not include everyone in its vision of it — every race, every religion, every nationality, every gender. That inclusion is not a side value. It is the starting condition. Without it, whatever is built is not peace, only the comfort of some at the expense of others. The tool for getting there is a single question, applied consistently to any action, any policy, any institution: does this increase or decrease the level of peace in human society? Not an opinion. Not a doctrine. A method, teachable the same way any other discipline is taught, tested, and applied. Universities are the mechanism because students are the mechanism. They inherit the world being built right now, and they are the ones who will still be making decisions in it decades after everyone currently in power is gone. A generation that has genuinely internalized this question as its habitual test does not carry forward the same unexamined defaults toward conflict that prior generations did.
Why There Can Be Only One Hub
This work is carried by one person. Not because others are unwelcome, but because no organization exists to distribute it across multiple centers, and none is planned. A framework this specific, at this early stage, fractures if it tries to have more than one home at once — competing versions, competing claims, no single place where the actual, in-person work is happening. One man. One message. One university. A university that wants the influence that comes with hosting this work needs to understand what hosting it actually means: not a satellite office, not a shared arrangement, but the founder working from that campus, in a space near enough to the university's own leadership that the relationship is a real, working one — across the courtyard from the president's office, not a mailing address on the other side of campus. That proximity is not a courtesy. It is the difference between a university that hosts Teach Peace and a university whose name is merely attached to it.
Why the Hub Must Be a Physical Seat, Not Only a Workspace
Because the founder does not travel — the work of building this at the center cannot be paused to travel constantly while it is still being built — the hub university must be able to receive the world instead. It needs the physical capacity to host visiting university leadership, government representatives, and international delegations as engagement grows, and the standing to convene a gathering of university heads when the work reaches that stage. The hub is not simply an office. It is the physical point where global engagement with Teach Peace actually occurs, and where it will continue to occur as this expands.
Why Albuquerque, Specifically
Distance from Washington and New York is not a limitation. It is deliberate. A hub too close to the seats of national and global power invites the kind of easy, informal access that would compromise the independence this work depends on. Albuquerque has the airport infrastructure to receive visitors, without the density of hotels and surrounding infrastructure that would make casual, frequent access convenient. Anyone who wants to engage — a government official, a UN representative, a university president from elsewhere — has to choose to come, deliberately, one at a time. Not funding. Not a finished course. Real interaction: faculty and students across departments who know who I am, feel free to approach directly, and can offer honest feedback on how Teach Peace lands in their own field — political science, philosophy, religious studies, art, law, wherever it is tested. That feedback is what shapes the curriculum a university ultimately builds, at its own pace, on its own terms. And, as described above, physical proximity and the capacity to host global engagement as it grows.Who Is Asking
This is the work of a life, not a proposal drafted for this outreach. For more than forty years, one person has built toward a single goal: a systematic, teachable path to increasing peace in human society. Three degrees earned while working full time and raising a family. Twenty years practicing law. A statewide campaign for Governor of Texas. Over 160 published books, including a complete restructuring of the four Gospels and original translations of the Bhagavad Gita, the Analects of Confucius, and the Tao Te Ching. In 1988, this commitment became permanent: a legal name change to WorldPeace, organizing the rest of a life around the one goal understood, even then, to be unreachable in full — and for that reason, the only goal large enough to be worth the rest of a lifetime. There is no second candidate for this role, not because others are unwelcome, but because no one else has spent five decades building toward it. That is a factual claim, verifiable against the record, not an assertion of authority over anyone. The title carried is Global Advocate for Peace — earned by documented work, not appointed by any board, and answerable to no institution's hierarchy. A hub university says yes. Real engagement begins immediately — classes, faculty conversations, direct feedback — not a formal course awaiting years of committee approval. From that center, the same method extends to other universities, to peace organizations, and in time, to a global network of institutions teaching the same single question, each in its own way, none of them required to ask permission first. The plan is simple because it has to be. A framework this large only spreads if the ask at every step stays small — except for the one thing that cannot be shared: the single, physical place where it all begins.

- Born Kenneth Edward Wolter April 24, 1948;
- Legally changed name to John WorldPeace in 1988, at age forty, to organize the rest of his life around one goal to Teach Peace, which he understood could never be fully achieved
-Three degrees — political science '70, accountancy '78, and law '84 University of Houston— earned over ten years while working full time and raising a family.
-U.S. Army, 1970–1972. Drafted. 11 months trained as infantry sgt for Vietnam, But September 71 assigned to a U S Army company in support of NATO posted in Vicenza, Italy.
Honorably discharged May 1972
- Built and ran five independent businesses: insurance, accounting, tax preparation, law, web design. Still building web sites as needed.
- Practiced law for twenty years

- Served one year in Federa/Harris County detention, 2008 — used the time to write seven books, including a full biography of St. Francis of Assisi and a restructuring of the four Gospels into a single narrative.

- 5 significant relationships between 1965 and 2016. 3 my age. 2 half my age. Two 19 years marriages. All partnership not love affairs. Lived alone by choice since Sept 2016. I am open to another relationship but not looking. No female will be part of my personal life unless she is engaged in my agenda.
- I live a minimalist life with no car, a motorcycle, no assets. I have many skills that can be employed to live any lifestyle I want. The last 10 years have been spent on my projects. Art, Poetry, Religous Spiritual research, and politics. My flagship website has 50,000 pages. My life is an open book.
- 3 sons one daughter, all in their 50s. 9 grandchildren. I am disconnected from all of them. Children are of you body not your soul. 3 sons all went into the Marines after HS graduation. Middle son PhD in business. I have lived in Albuquerque since Sept 2011.
- Sole developer of the Teach Peace agenda to create a BA, MA, PhD curriculum in Peace studies in all the universities in the world.: My curriculum and workbooks come to about 1100 pages virtually all in this University outreach. I expect to publish two books of about 500 pages each before the end of August. When a book reaches the point I have reached with Teach Peace I publish with Amazon and finish editing after I see the first printing. I do not consider any book I have written to be finalized until I am dead.
